Peace Region One Act Play Festival Saturday April 23 @ 7:30 pm

Alberta Drama Festival Association Peace Region One Act Play Festival is all about COMEDY and is back on Saturday April 23 at 7:30 pm! Hosted by the Grande Prairie Live Theatre. This festival has come alive after being cancelled for the past two years because of covid. Come out to support Grande Prairie Region’s actors for an evening of entertaining and sometimes thought provoking theatre.
One play from this zone will move on to to the ADFA Provincial One Act Play Festival in the historic Bailey Theatre, Camrose. Over 100 years old, the Bailey Theatre is the perfect location for this provincial festival.
Thanks to Misha Albert, Northwestern Polytechnic Drama Instructor, for agreeing to be this year’s Festival Adjudicator.

Acting Classes for Adults

Designed for folks with little or no previous acting experience, this 2-day course introduces the key elements of the acting process in a friendly and supportive environment. Participants will explore their playful side by bringing characters in scripts to life. Imagination, script interpretation, voice, and acting exercises will bring together the energy and tools needed to begin your journey on stage!
Class size is limited to 12. No Fee. Must be prepared to attend both days. No prior acting experience is needed. These classes are for adults. Not designed for children.
Two Courses are now accepting registrations:
Course 1 : Saturday March 12 @ 9am-3pm and Sunday March 13 @ 10am-2pm
Course 2 : Saturday March 19 @ 9am-3pm and Sunday March 20 @ 10am-2pm
