An evening of entertaining theatre presented by the Alberta Drama Festival Association. Hosted by Grande Prairie Live Theatre. The Best Play will represent our zone at the Provincial One Act Play Festival for Adults in High River in May.

Advanced Stage and Film Makeup Workshop April 13 @ 9 am to 3:30 presented by Grande Prairie Live Theatre and Theatre Alberta.
Limited to 20. Preregistration is required. Prosthetics, makeup, snacks and lunch are provided FREE. Latex, prosthetics and makeup allergies warning. No prior experience required.

Makeup Expert Ashly Mckessock has been interested in make-up and monsters for most of her life.
She has been working professionally as a make-up and special effects
artist since 2009. She began by working in photoshoots, bridal and simple
stage application as well as an artist at MAC cosmetics. She then
expanded her education, receiving her diploma from Vancouver Film
School’s Make-up Design for Film and Television program in 2013. Ashly
has since become a member of IATSE 210 and has a permit for IATSE 873
and has been working in film, television and stage. She specializes in
character make-up, prosthetic and mask creation and application, bald
caps, wigs and facial hair, ventilation, as well as being proficient in beauty
makeup, body paint and injury simulation.
