CULTURE FORUM FOR CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES
The Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, Grande Prairie Live Theatre, Centre for Creative Arts, Grande Prairie Public Library, and the South Peace Regional Archives have partnered to host an all-candidate forum on art, heritage, and culture in our city.

Topics to be discussed are:
Culture and its contributions to quality of life
Ensuring stable, reliable, equitable access to municipal resources
New initiatives or ideas to support the cultural sector
Culture and Economy; tourism, gross output and attracting and retaining talent and investment

The event will be live streamed through partners Facebook and YouTube channels on October 5, 2021, beginning with Council candidates at 7:00pm and Mayoral candidates beginning approximately at 8:30pm.

EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 20 AND UNTIL FURTHER ORDER OF AHS, ALL PATRONS MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATIONS, OR A PAID RAPID TEST OR A MEDICAL LETTER CONFIRMING THEY CANNOT BE VACCINATED FOR HEALTH REASONS. MASKS MUST BE WORN BY ALL.

With the start of our 59th Season on September 9, Grande Prairie Live Theatre welcomes everyone to experience live local theatre and other live events at our home theatre located at 10130-98 Avenue and at the KMSC Law Performing Arts Theatre located at 300 Arbour Hills Blvd. We know that Covid continues to be a reality and a health concern for all. Here are the Covid protocols GPLT will be asking all patrons, volunteers and staff to follow until further notice.

Auditions September 14 @ 6-9 pm for A Christmas Concert

AHS requires that everyone attending the audition wear masks at all times except when on stage for their audition.

A Christmas Concert is a special Holiday Treat from the Volunteers of Grande Prairie Live Theatre. We are looking for singers who LOVE CHRISTMAS and want to sing some amazing Christmas Songs. Auditions will be held at Grande Prairie Live Theatre on September 14, 2021 from 6PM-9:30PM. Please contact the box office to select your time!
What to prepare:
Auditions are calling for actors that are ages 16+. The instrumental and vocal arrangements of all songs will be available on the WeTransfer site, however, you will be singing with the instrumental version only (no substitutions). Pick any song from the show that you would like. Here are the Audition/Show Songs:
