Open Auditions for Males continue for The Diary of Anne Frank May 18 @6-8:30 pm

Open auditions continue at GPLT exclusively for these important roles for males ages 14 and up in “The Diary of Anne Frank” this THURSDAY, May 18 from 6 to 8:30 pm.

We are looking for actors to play:
1. Mr. Frank: A compassionate and wise father figure.
2. Peter Van Daan: A young, introspective teenager.
3. Mr. Van Daan: Peter’s father, displaying a range of emotions.
4. Mr. Dussel: An eccentric and peculiar individual.
5. Mr. Kraler: A supportive and resourceful helper.

Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett’s play is based on the true story of a young Jewish girl who kept a diary of her time hiding from the Nazis in an attic of her father’s office during World War II.

Auditions for GPLT’s Spectacular Event: The 60th Anniversary Celebration Show

Grande Prairie Live Theatre is celebrating our 60 years of entertaining our friends and neighbours with a special 60th Anniversary Celebration Show: A Spectacular Event on April 27, 28, 29 and May 4, 5, 2023 at 7:30 pm.
We are looking for up to 20 singers. Each singer will sing in two or three numbers. Possibly solos. Possibly small group numbers. PLUS the Grande Finale. With the limited number of songs for each singer, rehearsals for each singer will be limited to the times they need to come to rehearsal their songs. NO LONG PERIODS OF WAITING FOR YOUR SONGS TO BE CALLED.
Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-9:30. Saturdays 10 am to 12:30 pm. Starting Wednesday March 29. Plus more rehearsals during the week before opening night. First dress = April 24. Second dress = April 25.

This is a call for singers.
