Description
The Grande Prairie Community Interact Club is a group of young adults who meet regularly with a focus on finding ways to improve the quality of life in the Grande Prairie region. They are keenly aware of the issues and challenges of living in these ever changing times.
They do one fundraiser each year to raise awareness for a major issue facing our society and to raise funds to donate to help advance ways to deal with an issue. This year they have chosen Human Trafficking. Human trafficking can happen to anyone by anyone. To raise awareness for this pressing issue, the Grande Prairie Community Interact Club will be holding a concert with local musicians.
On June 6, 2025 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm they invite you to attend a fundraiser and awareness raiser for the terrible reality of Human Trafficking. At the KMSC Law Performing Arts Theatre.
All ages are welcome but sensitive topics will be discussed.
Five local youth performance groups will be performing.
Admission is by donation. All proceeds will be donated to this worthy cause.
The Community Interact Club is supported by the Rotary Clubs of Grande Prairie.
What is an Interact Club:
Interact is a club for youth ages 12-18 who want to connect with others in their community or school. Interact club members have fun while carrying out service projects and learning about the world. Interact clubs organize at least two service projects a year: one that benefits their community and one that encourages international understanding. While Interact clubs receive guidance from individual Rotary clubs, they govern and support themselves.
