Jordi Mand is a Toronto-based playwright who has worked with some of Canada’s most prominent theatre companies. Mand’s play Brontë: The World Without premiered at the Stratford Festival—Canada’s largest and most prestigious theatre company. The play follows the lives of Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë in a striking historical drama, which collects moments filled with passion and self-expression to show what it was like to be an ambitious woman in the 1800s.

Four Plays Postponed to Next Season

GPLT has postponed four plays to next season. New dates will be announced sometime in the future for Nana’s Naughty Knickers, The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble, The Pillowman and Ring of Fire. All tickets for these plays will be held as a credit on patrons’ accounts. Patrons can leave the credit to be used next season or get a full refund.
