It has been 269 days since we heard the thundering hooves, the trundle of wagon wheels, the commands of drivers. The sights and sounds of World Professional Chuckwagon Racing season returns May 28th at the Grande Prairie Stompede. Let the horn sound on your chance to open the season with your logo and name on the tarp of your favorite wagon for the 47th annual Grande Prairie Stompede.
The Grande Prairie Stompede is proud to continue to to support our partnership with The Peace Area Riding for the Disabled’s (PARDS), Unbridled Program. More information here This unique equine youth mental health program needs your support. You have the opportunity to participate in raffles, ring box give away, silent and live auction items all benefiting The Unbridled Program.
The hardy down home prime dinner will satisfy your stomach, and make sure your dancing boots are ready to set the dance floor on fire with the electrifying sound of Alberta’s own, Duane Steele & Kings of Country. Enjoy a midnight lunch that curbs your munchies after dancing the night away while you get the last of your silent auction bids made.
