Call for Nominations for GPLT Special Awards! Deadline July 11, 2016.
Every year at our September Annual General Meeting, Grande Prairie Live Theatre recognizes special volunteers with three Awards.
The Jennie Tetreau Award is given to someone who has made exemplary long term contributions to GPLT for at least 10 years.
The Short But Sweet Award is given to someone who has made exceptional short term contributions to GPLT over a period of not more than 5 years.
The Rising Star Award is given to someone less than 18 years of age who has made a dramatic impact in one or more ways with GPLT.
More than one award recipient may be recognized in any category each year. The contributions can be made in one or more areas including onstage, offstage or behind the scenes.
Nominators must submit their nominations in writing by email to manager@gplt.ab.ca or delivered or mailed to the theatre marked: Nomination. Nominators must give the reasons for the nomination and details of the nominee’s contributions. All nominations are held in confidence and reviewed by the Nominating Committee lead by Past President Sandra Pippus. The GPLT Board makes the final decision. Only the names of successful award recipients are made public.
