Description
Gaelan’s Music Show with Special Guest Ray O’Toole.
Building on the excitement of “Ragtime and More”, Gaelan’s first concert at Grande Prairie Live Theatre, Gaelan returns to GPLT on Saturday November 16 with a new instrument, new music and a special guest performer.
Gaelan will entertain you with his piano and, new to him, accordion. What a special combination of instruments and musical genres!
Gaelan has invited his good friend Ray O’Toole to join him. Ray is upbeat and true to his toe tapping, hand clapping East Coast and Irish Folk Roots.
Here are a few words from Gaelan and Ray:
Gaelan: I am from the Grande Prairie area, grew up north of Sexsmith. I have played music since elementary school. I play the piano, specializing in ragtime and a mix of other music. I also write music for the piano. I recently took up the accordion as well and will be featuring it in the show. I also play the tuba with the Grande Prairie Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
Ray: I’m Ray O’Toole and I’ve been a singer & guitar player for many years. My musical roots are firmly planted in East Coast & Irish folk music. However, my interests and song choices span many decades, as well as many genres too. I enjoy engaging with audience and when I play, you can expect to sing and have a lot of fun. Cheers.
